here's the dal palak with rice from kohinoor. it was actually really tasty and i didn't get that usual salty feel after eating packaged food where i end up guzzling more water after one meal than i do in a whole day. checking out the ingredient list there are no preservatives and all the stuff is spices and foods i recognize. the meal is also halal and gluten free and did i mention it only takes 2 minutes to cook! talk about lazy person's food. i think my maximum time for preparing a meal has dropped to under 5 minutes...which is sad, but if i can find more kohinoor varieties somewhere then i'll be in luck. :)
